The newly-renovated levee is now an amphitheater with seating for 2,500
people. Located in downtown Charleston, this facility opened in the
summer of 1995 and is available for public and private use. Haddad
Riverfront Park is the perfect setting for boaters, as well as land
lovers, for docking or just watching the boats go by! The park is
available for public or private concerts, reunions, conferences and even
weddings.

Magic Island

A picturesque park nestled at the
confluence of the Elk and Kanawha Rivers, Magic Island boasts a walking
track and sand volleyball courts for Charleston residents. It’s also a
romantic spot for picnics or for relaxing and soaking up the sunshine!

Roadside Park

Visitors to this historic area
along Kanawha Boulevard East are treated to a scenic view of the Kanawha
River. The park offers a boat ramp and picnic area for the enjoyment of
everyone. Visitors can view the Kanawha Valley of yesteryear at the Ruffner Log Cabin and the Craik-Patton House, both of which are located
at the park. Daniel Boone is now the home of a beautiful holiday light
show during the month of December.

Cato Park

Tucked away on the city’s West
Side, this park may be one of the best kept secrets of the city. Cato is
home to an olympic-size swimming pool, a 9-hole golf course, tennis
courts and several picnic areas.
