We Can Help.
The Charleston Human Rights Commission works to enforce the law
by receiving, investigating, and deciding on complaints that
allege discrimination. This can happen in a housing, employment,
or public accommodation situation.
The Commission may also initiate its own investigations of
alleged discrimination and make recommendations to the mayor and
City Council concerning policies and legislation in matters that
affect human rights.
